In my life, one of my most difficult challenges I have yet to face is (you probably already know this) when I just started/joined hockey. I knew this was going to be difficult because for one, I haven't skated before, and for two hockey isn't an easy sport. I had a simple idea on how to play and such but once I stepped foot onto the ice. It was nothing like I had imagined. I had been shooting pucks and stickhandling just a little (also watching a little hockey) to get my self prepared for it. I mean It helped yes, but I was no where close to being first line. I worked my butt off and just kept pushing until the lines came out later on that month. I had made first line, but I knew if I stopped working hard or got worse again. I would get pushed back to a different line, now I really had to prove him and play for my spot. I had to keep dedicated and working hard. I did and that season I excelled tremendously and ended up staying first line.
